Even though it was a bit cold outside, this was such fun. Jodi loves pictures, John on the other hand doesn't - but is so photogenic and did the shoot with a great attitude for Jodi... I can't wait for thier wedding, as they are super fun, and just fabulous people. See you soon.

What a wonderful day to meet so many brides, some grooms, lots of moms and friends at the Knoxville Convention Center last Sunday for the bridal show. We had a booth near the stage and had a great time. Jenni, Rebekah and myself were all able to be at the booth speaking with brides and families and seemed to have a really great response to our photography, philosophy and pricing. Hey the 3 P's.... I like that. For those of you who did not attend and are interested, I am still giving an additional $100 print credit with any new booking from now until June 1st 2009.
Here's a photo of the ad that is in the newest Premier Bride Magazine.

Lauren and Shane were married at the Foundry in downtown Knoxville on December 21st. The entire wedding was winter theme with navy blue and silver with snowflakes. I had met them for thier engagments and knew that this day would be full of emotion from everyone. They have been a couple for many years and seem to meld together perfectly. The wedding itself was perfect and beautiful and the reception was also as planned... until the cold hit, they had a carriage ride around town at the end of the night, with below freezing temps, I hope they've thawed out by now...
Brandy and Andrew were married on a rainy, rainy day in late December at Sampson's Hollow. The north was experiencing snowstorms strong enough many guests and family were unable to make it to the wedding. The wedding went on as scheduled and the two of them seemed so happy once the ceremony had finished. We were able to still capture some great outdoor shots thanks to the help of Leslie at Sampson's Hollow carrying the umbrella for them and the great smokehouse of course.
Courtney and John came from Virginia to look at Sampson's Hollow as a possible location for thier wedding, and loved it. We were able to take engagement photos right after thier meeting with Bill. The day turned out nice, but a tad windy - not too cold though... I'm looking forward to the wedding.
Al Havner and Sons Hardwood floors, creates masterpieces in flooring, and Al is entering a contest for best floors. I was fortunate enough to go to his home and see his work firsthand and wow, these are just gorgeous floors. Here's hoping he wins the contest!
